Welcome History and Coin Enthusiasts!
The Wasatch Coin & History Club meets the last Tuesday of every month. In June we welcomed Dr. Lee McKenzie, who gave an outstanding presentation on Replicas, Counterfeits and Identifying Coins. The Club will meet again on Tuesday, 25 July, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Heber City / Wasatch County Library in the Executive Briefing Room. Drew Whitehead, from All About Coins, will talk about the Commonwealth of England, History and Coinage – a time of civil war in England and influence of Oliver Cromwell, following the Pilgrims and Voyage of the Mayflower.
As always, we will have show-n-tell, so bring your most interesting coins. There will be some coin giveaways too – so come and enjoy in the fun and learning.
We appreciate our club members who have shared and presented in the past months. Thanks go out to All About Coins in Sugar House for providing expertise and encouragement to the Club.
