Whether you’re maintaining a mature yard or dreaming up a new design, this is the season to learn, plan, and prepare for growth.

“The best time of year to prune ornamental trees is the latter part of winter, while the trees are still dormant and buds have not yet begun to swell. This causes less stress on the trees, and it’s easy to see the branching patterns without leaves. Our free educational landscaping classes are available to anyone and any skill level. Throughout the growing season we will invite experts from across academia, professional services, etc. to speak on a variety of topics. Central Utah Water staff will also teach classes that help those who are interested in participating in our rebate/incentive programs ultimately succeed in that endeavor.
