Soldier Hollow Classic Sheepdog Championship & Festival

The Soldier Hollow Classic Sheepdog Championship & Festival, celebrating its 20th year in 2024, was held in 2003 on Labor Day Weekend at Soldier Hollow in Wasatch Mountain State Park in Midway, Utah. The Event boasted approximately 5,000 spectators with competitors from around the world. Those humble beginnings and the event’s return each year to this venue is now one of the foremost annual events of its kind in the world, having drawn competitors from 19 countries and over 12,000 spectators annually.

Along with the Sheepdog National Finals and other major trials, it has gained international recognition for its quality and rigor. It draws more spectators than any sheepdog trial in the world.
