Heber 9/11 National Day of Service
Project Details
- 9 am, assemble at the Heber City Park for a flag raising ceremony.
- A light breakfast of doughnuts and beverages will be served.
- Select one or two of six service projects to participate in. A project leader, project address, and project instsructions will be provided.
- Travel to that location and work side by side with community friends to help complete the project.
- Project descriptions, with tools needed, will be listed on the hebervalleyserves.org website. Prior sign up is appreciated, but not mandetory.
- Projects are as follows:
- Airport beautification
- Heber Valley Railroad beautification
- IHC Hospital grounds beautification
- Proper beautification at 274 North Main Street
- Creation of fleece blankets for inmates to tie
- Weaving of waterproof mats for the homeless and refugees
