Class – Painting Mountain Valley Harvest Colors

Our Mountains, Desert, Valley combination in the Fall is truly unique and special. Come learn to create and mix colors to create a local palette. Our Local Master for this class is long time artist and teacher Janet Johnson. We are thrilled to host her at the Nursery’s Local Masters Series where we celebrate and highlight our valley residents. Janet Johnson will be offering a series of classes starting with the first being Harvest Colors, mixing paints to reflect our Mountain Valley palette. Come join this two-hour class where still life and the Nursery plants will be your subjects. This interactive class offers you to rent or bring your brushes and palette knifes. Come prepared to learn, practice, relax, listen to music, and enjoy a glass of wine or cider.

Artist Bio
Janet has worked as a professional artist and art teacher for over 30 years. She has created artwork for National Parks and Forests as well as for private collections, and galleries. Her work is at Hoover Dam, the National Park traveling exhibit and a host of sites across the country. She enjoys Plein Air painting while hiking and exploring the great outdoors.
