Guided Historical Hikes

Discover Park City’s mining history

Enjoy the beauty of Deer Valley with a guided hike highlighting the area’s rich mining history. This three- to four-hour hike covers moderately strenuous terrain and typically spans less than six miles. Participants will meet at Snow Park Lodge (by the Stein Eriksen statue) for an 8:30 a.m. departure and enjoy a hike around Little Baldy.

The group size is limited to 20 participants. Reservations are required and a $10 fee per person, with all proceeds benefiting a local nonprofit organization as part of Deer Valley’s commitment to the community.
Please note that participants should be in good shape, wear sturdy footwear, bring proper sun protection and carry plenty of water and snacks. For the safety of others who share the mountain, no dogs please.
