“Paint the Town” A Historic Art Event
Step back in time and explore the rich tapestry of our town’s history at the “Paint the Town” event, a unique celebration that marries art with the storied past of our historical properties. The “Paint the Town” art show and sale will take place on Friday, October 11, from 6 pm-9pm and on Saturday, October 12, from 10 am-3pm at the Midway Community Center located at 160 W. Main St. in Midway, Utah.
The event will feature paintings inspired by Midway’s most notable historic properties and created by artists from the Midway Art Association and the Plein Air Painters of Utah.
In addition to the art exhibit, the Friday night open house will feature presentations and information about how these landmarks have shaped our community over the decades.
The “Paint the Town” event promises to provide community engagement and education, aiming to deepen appreciation for our historical properties while sharing the love of art that runs deep throughout Midway’s history. This will make a perfect outing for families, art enthusiasts, and history buffs alike.
