Funds raised go directly to Wasatch Mountain State Park to preserve, protect, and promote the Park’s recreational opportunities.  This year’s funds will support the Park’s Black Willow Nature Experience project.  The Deer Creek Trailhead & Chalet are prominent areas in the Park. This project will honor the 100+ year-old black willows that were removed and create an interpretive learning environment for year-around enjoyment by the Heber Valley community and visitors. The black willows’ trunks/large branches will be turned into signage, benches, a center of “peace” at the new campground, “cookie stepping stones”, and other ways to preserve the history and story of the trees.
