Utah Governor’s Office Launches Loan Program For Small Businesses

The Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Development has launched a bridge loan program for Utah-based small businesses to cope with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Businesses with 50 or fewer employees can apply for loan amounts ranging from $5,000 to $20,000 with 0% interest for up to 5 years. Loans are for businesses, not nonprofits, and cannot exceed three months of demonstrated operating expenses. Loan payments are deferred for 12 months. At least 25% of the loan program funds will be used for rural Utah small businesses.
