Utah Department of Health confirmed the third case of COVID-19 in Wasatch County Thursday afternoon.
The third person confirmed with COVID-19 in Wasatch County is an individual between 35-60 years old. Wasatch County Health Department is still investigating how the patient came in contact with the disease, the third case has not been linked to the other two Wasatch County cases or any other known case, the case is also not linked to travel.
Individuals who feel symptoms of COVID-19 including fever, cough, and shortness of breath are asked to call the state information line 1-800-456-7707. Officials urge people with symptoms to not go to medical centers without first calling ahead, unless an individual cannot breathe.
