This is the first international biathlon event of this level in the U.S. since the 2002 Olympic games. With the popularity of biathlon in Europe, the event will be televised live to millions of viewers. We are expecting a large spectator crowd at Soldier Hollow so are having a Winter Festival with live music, food trucks, beer garden and spectator activities on competition days.
The size of this event requires hundreds of volunteers. We have had a fantastic response to our call for volunteers, but we still need more! If you or anyone you know is available to volunteer for this event, please complete the attached form. Volunteer shifts will mostly start around 9:00 am and end between 3:00-5:00 pm each day.
Volunteer Services
A tent is set-up for all volunteers and staff members working the event. The tent will have foodservice that includes light breakfast items, snacks and beverages all day and lunch each day.
