It tells the story of Maria, a young postulant who is unable to keep the rules of the Nonneburg Abby and is sent by the Mother Abbess to be a governess to Captain Von Trapp’s seven children. Free-spirited Maria brings music and love to the Von Trapp family.\n\n\nTICKETS WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR as there is a 50-seat overflow area. If you arrive by 7:15 p.m. you will be able to purchase tickets ($14/$10) for the overflow area even if online tickets are sold out!\nPerformances begin at 8:15 p.m.\nPremium seats – First six rows – Adults $17; Kids 1-12 years old $13\nRegular seats – Rows 7-13 – Adults $14; Kids 1-12 years old $10\nFREE LIVE-MUSIC PRE-SHOW AT 7:30 EACH EVENING\nBring a picnic supper and enjoy live music and clear mountain scenery before the show begins.\nBe sure to bring something warm to wear.
